The 2021 Bauer Hyperlite hockey helmet is now available, and Pure Hockey has the inside scoop before you buy. Hyperlite is Bauer’s newest product line, with a host of innovative features that emphasize lightweight construction without sacrificing safety or mobility. Fans of traditional Bauer helmets will be excited to check out this cutting-edge new model.
Bauer Hyperlite Hockey Helmet
Bauer engineered the Hyperlite hockey helmet to be 20% lighter than the RE-AKT 150 helmet. Bauer has fine-tuned the thickness of the Hyperlite’s shell, with a high-cut occipital region with memory foam padding. The Hyperlite also features a molded liner made with XRD®, a lightweight material that can absorb up to 90% of the energy from impacts on the ice. The comfort liner has moisture channels to promote air flow and evaporation, helping you stay cool and dry.
The Hyperlite helmet includes Bauer’s new ShockLite foam technology. ShockLite combines high-density foam with fiber-reinforced Curv® composite material, making it extremely lightweight yet highly protective. Bauer built this material into all five key zones of the Hyperlite helmet to provide maximum protection.
The Hyperlite uses Bauer’s Free Form adjustment system, which allows independent length and width adjustment for a more customized fit.
With an outstanding combination of style, comfort, and protection, the Bauer Hyperlite sets a high bar for other hockey helmets coming onto the scene.
